Where the competition is a theme competition, entries are restricted to a total of four projected digital images and/or four prints per member. The trophy winners in the ‘Theme’ competition will be the members who score the highest combined marks when their two highest marks in each heat are added together. The projected digital image and print scores will be kept separate to give a winner in each format. In the event of a tie, the members third highest score will be used to obtain a winner.

 5

The ‘Natural History’ competition is split into two sections, projected digital images and prints. It will cover all flora and fauna. The title of each image must contain the name of the animal/bird or plant. Entries are restricted to a total of four projected digital images and/or four prints per member. The winner of the projected digital image and the print section will each hold the trophy for six months.

 6

There are two ‘Landscape’ competitions, one for projected digital images and one for prints. Entries are restricted to a total of four projected digital images and a total of four prints per member.

A member can enter up to four prints in each section with one from each section being nominated to be excluded if there are too many entries. Prints must be handed to the Competition Secretary no later than the week before the competition in order that they can be presented to the judge on his arrival on the night of the competition, (entries will be accepted up to the Friday evening at the home of the Competition Secretary).

 9

The Projected Digital Image of the Year’ and ‘Print of the Year’ competitions are open to any images that have not received an award (cup or plaque, or have been placed first in either heat of a ‘Theme’ competition). The same or similar image should not be entered as a print or digital image in the same year’s competition..
